How does PTFTM work?
PTP™ connects light energy with thermal energy which guarantees excellent results on hair removal and hair treatments. Woman’s body hair like facial hair, leg hair, armpit hair, pubic hair, as well as man’s chest and back hair can be removed permanently, as long as the hair is showing pigmentation.
How is the treatment being conducted?
First, you are going to wear an eye protection. A cooling gel film is going to be applied on the specific area, so as to conduct the flash of light into the skin. The top of the laser head is placed on the skin surface. You are going to feel short light pulse acting on a number of hair follicles contemporaneously. The procedure is repeated, until the specific area is completely treated.
Is the treatment suitable for men and women?
Of course, the ideal persons for the treatment are fair-skinned clients with dark hair. But given to the accurate scientific researches, our newest technology (IPL + PTP) offers several programmes suitable for the different skin colours and skin types. With this ultimate solution and a specifically applied lamp all the fair hair is going to be powerless against its destruction!
How does the treatment feel like?
Secondary effects like ingrown hair, painless, tissue-kind and absolutely harmless treatment are positively mentioned by our clients compared to the «older» IPL appliance generation. Our clients consider the treatment being pleasant, comfortable and effective. Eight treatments are necessary, on average.
Which secondary effects might occur?
After the treatment the skin could blush. Almost all clients didn’t experience any secondary effects or cutaneous reaction. No skin irritations (for example burns to the skin) which were caused through the obsolete IPL treatments methods over and over. (The treatment evokes hypo- or hyper-pigmentations extremely rarely. Normally, they recede.)
A previous consulting of 30 minutes with a precise clarification and a partial test-treatment is recommended and it is free of charge.
How many treatments are necessary?
Only hair in the anagen (growth) phase can be treated. Therefore, several treatments are necessary. The treatments are carried out all four weeks. The number of treatments is different, but normally eight treatments on average are needed for lasting results.
How long does a treatment take?
It is independent of the area to be treated. You should count 1 hour for full legs. Armpit and bikini line can be treated in 20 minutes.
What must be pointed out?
It is very important to properly shave the body parts to be treated and do not apply any oily creams 24 hours before the treatment day. No sunbathing 1 week before and after the treatment.
